Dr. William Schneider
John Rischiottowas on the job and a passenger in a car that was rear ended. Shortly after the collision John began experiencing terrible neck pain, headaches, nausea, dizziness and also aggravated an old shoulder injury. On beginning therapy, John reported, "There was immediate benefit from the treatment.". Originally, John was alarmed by the discomfort that trigger point work can entail but he soon came to appreciate the value of the deep-tissue message in relieving. After several months of care, John was feeling like his old self. "I was especially pleased at the relief of pain in my right shoulder." After completing care for injuries suffered in the accident, John expressed interest in getting treatment on his legs as he had experienced post-operative pain in his left knee and calf. "I was extremely happy with the results on my legs. They feel light. I feel energized." John went from being a "skeptic to a firm believer" in chiropractic and trigger point therapy, for himself and his family.
I first metBill Homan in 1993 after he fell and injured his shoulder. Bill was an avid swimmer and his injury was preventing him from swimming. A friend referred him to see me. Bill decided to give to give Chiropractic a try. "I didn't know what else to do."
Much to Bill's delight my trigger point treatments worked well to rehabilitate his injured shoulder. Within 2 months Bill was back swimming 6 days a week at the YMCA.
In 1994, at age 63, Bill competed in the State Games of Oregon and won several medals. He has competed every year since, winning medals in his division each time, as well as qualifying four times for the National Senior Games. In 2001 the State Games of Oregon honored Bill as the "Male Athlete of the Year" for his dedication and sportmanship.
Since 1993, While Bill has been collecting medals galore, he has been visiting my office for what he calls "tune ups", Bill says. "Every so often something happens and I go see Will." During that time Bill has also referred several friends and family to my clinic.
